Our methodology is flexible, understanding that every client is unique, not only in the way their organisation operates but also in the people they employ. This is why at Blue Scala we approach each engagement as a partnership, collaboratively working side by side to ensure the story is understood, the path forward is defined and success is achieved.

Discovery

The most critical stage of any engagement is understanding the client's business and the challenges they face. The time required for discovery will be determined by the complexity of the business and its challenges. An understanding of the client vision and strategies is crucial, as this will have a bearing on the outcome.

Action Planning

Blue Scala collates information and data to analyse the situation. We also take into account the people factor - appreciating the importance this plays in the success of the solution. We will conduct deep dives together with the client to look at a range of consequences. The ultimate aim is to identify solutions and provide recommendations to the client for consideration.

Implementation

Blue Scala can also implement the solution using industry project management processes to instigate, scope, manage, report and complete the implementation. Where the solution includes 3rd party deliverables, these are managed as part of the overall agreed scope. Where training is part of the solution Blue Scala will also manage this based on the client’s preferences.

Closure

The closure phase confirms that the agreed scope of the consultation engagement has been completed. However, in a number of situations we will return after a defined period to perform an evaluation. Otherwise where this is not required we will conclude the engagement.

Evaluation

Where agreed, following a pre-defined period Blue Scala will perform a review of the solution to ensure the benefits are realised. Blue Scala will compile a report and present this to the client. Any further actions that arise from this evaluation will be determined in consultation with the client.

Remaining Connected

Blue Scala is committed to maintaining contact with each client following the conclusion of an engagement. This on-going commitment provides an opportunity to check-in and discuss previous outcomes, share insights, and act as a sound board.
